The Early Church in the Book of Acts (NT4)
The thirty or so years recorded in the Book of Acts are perhaps the most important in human history. From the resurrection and ascension of Jesus, the establishment of the Jewish-Christian church in Jerusalem, the first Gentile converts and the expansion to the west – this book records the details of how the Christian church was born and became established. Our class will examine the context and content of Acts, including its message for us today.
